PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress the deterioration of fuel economy and the lowering of efficiency without stopping the drive of auxiliary machines at the deceleration of a vehicle, related to the hybrid vehicle.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle 1 equipped with an engine 10 and a first electric motor 13 comprises: a clutch 11; a second electric motor 16 for driving an engine 10; a generator 26 driven by the engine 10; deceleration determination means 41, 61 for determining whether or not the vehicle 1 is in deceleration; demand load determination means 42, 43, 62 and 63 for determining whether or not a demand load is within a prescribed load range in which the use of the first electric motor 13 becomes higher in efficiency than the use of the engine 10; and a control means 40. When it is determined that the vehicle is in deceleration and the demand load is within the prescribed load range, the control means 40 disconnects the clutch 11, stops the fuel injection of the engine 10 and the power generation drive of the generator 26, and drives the second electric motor 16 and the first electric motor 13. |
