[Problem] To provide a carry assist instrument whereby even a caregiver with weak arm strength may carry a receiver of care in their arms, the caregiver's arms are not prone to tiring even when performing a carry in their arms for extended periods or repeatedly, and moreover, it is possible to safely and rapidly perform the carry in their arms. [Solution] A main body part of a carry assist instrument (A) is configured using an inelastic band (B), and the carry assist instrument (A) is configured including: a neck brace part (1) which is formed by fixing a neck cushion (11) in the center of the band (B); left and right pseudo-arm parts (2, 2) which are formed by arm-type cushions (21, 21) of a prescribed length, whereof the length of an adult's arm is a reference, and which are fixed to both ends of the band (B); and a pair of buckles (3, 3) which are respectively attached to end parts of these pseudo-arm parts (2, 2), and whereby the end parts of both of the pseudo-arm parts (2, 2) may be detachably coupled. |
