PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber lateral input/output device in which formation of an unintended bent part can be prevented and optical fibers can be optically coupled to each other in a quick and stable manner.SOLUTION: An optical fiber lateral input/output device 10 comprises: a mounting member 50, having a mounting part 53 and a concave curved surface part 55, for retaining a probe fiber 30; a first member 60 having a convex curved surface part 61; a first magnetic force generating member 71 for generating such first magnetic force as to attract the first member 60 and fix the first member 60; and a second magnetic force generating member 73 for generating such second magnetic force as to attract the first member 60 toward the concave curved surface part 55 and further fix the first member 60 which is attracted to the concave curved surface part 55. |
