PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly detect abnormality of a motor for driving an outdoor conveyor even if a temperature of the motor is acquired using a thermocamera.SOLUTION: An image reflecting a temperature of a motor 3 is acquired, and a motor temperature change amount &Dgr;T of the motor 3 is calculated using the acquired image. A motor driving current Iof the motor 3 is detected, and a start-time temperature change amount setting value &Dgr;Tof the motor 3 is set using the detected motor driving current I. Then, a corrected motor temperature change amount &Dgr;Tis calculated by is subtracting the start-time temperature change amount setting value &Dgr;Tfrom the motor temperature change amount &Dgr;T of the motor, and when the corrected motor temperature change amount &Dgr;Tis equal to or more than a threshold, it is determined that the temperature of the motor 3 is abnormal. By this constitution, an influence exerted on a temperature change of the motor 3 caused by an outside air temperature and sun radiation can be reduced, and also an influence of the temperature change amount at a start of the motor can be reduced. |
