The lubricant (30) is contained in the aggregate of the bound magnetic particles, and has a melting point less than or equal to 100°C. The method of producing a soft magnetic material includes the steps of forming an additive by mixing a binder (20) and a lubricant (30) including fatty acid monoamide, and binding the plurality of magnetic particles by the additive.
