摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generator which generates power by giving vibration to a magnetostrictor and can further improve efficiency of power generation using the vibration.SOLUTION: Receiving vibration in an arrow direction from a vibration source 10 makes a support 8a vibrate to make vibration power conversion means composed of a magnetostrictive member 3a, a magnetic member 4a, first and second coupling members 40a, 40b, magnetic coils 5a, 5b, joints 6a, 6b, permanent magnets 7a, 7b, and a weight body 2a (if attached) resonate. When the magnetostrictive member 3a is deformed largely by collision of amplitude limiting members 12a, 12b caused by resonance or increase in vibration, a magnetic flux of the magnetostrictive member 3a changes largely by a reverse magnetostriction effect, which generates induction voltage (induction current) in at least either of the magnetic coils 5a, 5b wound around the first and second coupling members 40a, 40b. Then, the generated power is received by a power supply circuit 11a and is supplied from the power supply circuit 11a to a load (not illustrated).
