PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition enabling improvement of properties of e.g. tires.SOLUTION: A rubber composition comprises 100 mass pts. of rubber ingredients including a modified diene type rubber containing, in the molecule, at least one connection group selected from connection groups of formulae (1) to (4) and connected with a different diene type polymer chain(s) through the connection group(s), and 5-150 mass pts. of a filler(s): (1) -CH-CO-CH=CH-CH-, (2) -CH-CO-CH-CH(OH)-CH-, (3) -CH(CHO)-CH(OH)-CH- and (4) -C(CH0)=CH-CH-. The configuration improves the compatibility of fillers with rubber ingredients, resulting in improved properties of the rubber composition. Since the modified diene type rubber is a composite polymer containing a different diene type polymer chain(s) in the principal chain structure, the rubber composition causes less phase separation, resulting in additional improvement of properties of the rubber composition. |
