PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation deterioration direction discrimination device of simple configuration facilitating the attachment capable of discriminating the work, and capable of discriminating the deterioration direction easily, and to provide an insulation deterioration direction discrimination method.SOLUTION: An insulation deterioration direction discrimination device 1 includes a first zero-phase current transformer 11 that is attached only to a service cable 50 wired between a demarcation 80 and a high voltage power receiving facility 81, a second zero-phase current transformer 12 that is attached to the service cable 50 between the first zero-phase current transformer 11 and high voltage power receiving facility 81, a third zero-phase current transformer 13 that is attached only to a lead-out shield wire 53 led out from the receiving-end 71 of the service cable 50 and grounded, output means 30 connected with the first zero-phase current transformer 11, and connected with the second and third zero-phase current transformers 12, 13 in parallel, and outputting an inputted current value, and display means for displaying the insulation deterioration on the basis of a current value outputted from the output means 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
