[Class 132 (i)] A brake device for use when ski-ing includes a, coat having sleeves sewn on to the coat in their entire length and provided with means for securing the lower end of the coat to the legs of the wearer. As shown, a cloak 1 of windproof material, e.g. balloon silk, sail-cloth or bed ticking is provided with sleeves 2 and stiffened portions 3 having hand loops 4. The portion 5 is provided between elastic members 8 carrying ankle-straps 10 with an elastic band 9. Tucks 6 ensure bellying due to air pressure. The portion 11 is secured across the wearer's chest and may be enlarged to protect the wearer's body. The cloak may be provided with slots. |
