PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that has superior rolling resistance characteristics, wet performance, and wear resistance in a balanced manner and suppresses occurrence of tread groove cracks.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire has a tread having a structure including a cap tread and a base tread. In the pneumatic tire, the cap tread contains a cap tread rubber composition that contains, based on 100 pts.mass of the rubber component, a predetermined amount of silica whose BET specific surface area is 70-300 m/g and a predetermined amount of carbon black and/or an inorganic filler while containing 0.5-5 pts.mass of a mold release agent containing at least one selected from a group comprising a fatty acid metal salt, fatty acid amide, and amide ester. The base tread comprises a base tread rubber composition that contains, based on 100 pts.mass of the rubber component, a predetermined amount of carbon black and/or silica whose BET specific surface area is 70-300 m/g. |
