PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding door for a railway vehicle made to be opened by push from the inside of a room, capable of making it easy to be opened from the inside of the room, even with small force.SOLUTION: A folding door 5 for opening/closing an opening 4 formed on a wall 3 of a unit room 2 inside of a railway vehicle 1 includes: a first panel 11 one end 11a of which is rotatably connected to one side of a peripheral edge of the opening 4; a second panel 13 disposed on the other side of the first panel 11, having, at an upper end or a lower end, a guided member 18 to be guided by a guide member 19, and being rotatable around the guided member 18 as a center; a hinge 12 for folding, for rotatably connecting one end 13e of the second panel 13 to the other end 11b of the first panel 11; and a push part 17 provided on an indoor surface 13d nearer to the other end 13b than an axis line CL of the guided member 18 in the second panel 13, to be pushed by a user in the room to open the folding door 5. The push part 17 has an inclined surface 21c inclined toward the side of the first panel 11 with respect to the indoor surface 13d of the second panel 13. |
