PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle control device which properly warms up a catalyst by avoiding the lowering of fuel economy when there arise both a catalyst warmup requirement and an SOC control requirement while securing a charging capacity of a battery.SOLUTION: When a catalyst warmup control flag is turned on (S10: YES), and a low-SOC control flag is turned on(S12: YES), an ECU (hybrid vehicle control device) calculates regenerative power Preg_av, charging allowable power Win, and vehicle traveling power Prun (S13), and calculates battery charging/discharging power Pbatt on the basis of a difference between the regenerative power Preg_av and the charging allowable power Win (S14). Furthermore, the ECU calculates engine requirement output Peng by subtracting the battery charging/discharging power Pbatt from the vehicle traveling power Prun (S15), and performs ignition retardant control by setting an ignition retardant angle IGTrtd (S16, S18). By this constitution, a catalyst can be properly warmed up while taking the charging allowable power Win into consideration. |
