PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus that can supply liquid to a recording part from an external tank without using an attachment.SOLUTION: The recording apparatus includes: a recording part 20 that performs recording by jetting the ink to paper P; a liquid container mounting part 30 that can mount an ink cartridge that stores the ink; a flow channel forming part 40 in which a flow channel where the ink housed in the ink cartridge mounted in a liquid housing body mounting part flows, is provided; an ink supply tube 44 that forms the flow channel of the ink from the flow channel forming part to the recording part side by connecting one end to the flow channel forming part and the other end to the recording part; and an ink tank 50 that is different from the ink cartridge to be mounted on the liquid housing body mounting part. One end of the ink supply tube is connectable to the ink tank and the connecting port to the ink supply tube, included in the ink tank is constituted to be common to the connection port to the ink supply tube included in the flow channel forming part. |
