PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that suppresses an influence of a change in conveyance time of a sheet on accuracy of exposure timing.SOLUTION: A printer includes an upstream-side sensor on the upstream side of a resist roller 74 and a downstream-side sensor on the downstream side of the resist roller 74, and stores a reference time A that is a time based on a sheet conveyance time between the sensors in a NVRAM. The printer determines a control timing of exposure on the basis of a timing at which the reference time A passes from the detection of the presence of a sheet by the upstream-side sensor. The printer changes the reference time A on the basis of a result related to the conveyance of the sheet. |
