PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To autonomously suppress a change in scanning characteristics due to temperature change in an optical scanner using torsional oscillation.SOLUTION: The optical scanner includes: a light reflection part 13 having a reflection surface for reflecting optical beam; and elastic connecting parts 16a and 16b that serve as rotating shafts for torsionally oscillating the light reflection part 13. The optical scanner that oscillates the light reflection part 13 about the rotating shafts to scan the optical beam reflected by the reflection surface includes a thermal actuator mechanism. The thermal actuator mechanism is configured integrally with, for example, the elastic connecting parts 16a and 16b and has a structure formed by superposing members of two types of materials having different coefficients of thermal expansion. The thermal actuator mechanism can offset a change in a spring constant of the elastic connecting parts 16a and 16b due to a temperature change by the self contraction or expansion so as to suppress a change in resonance frequency due to the temperature change. |
