In order to reliably separate an unclean section and a clean section from each other in a device that connects medical instruments, an adapter set 28 serves as an adapter component for connecting a medical instrument, such as an endoscope, to an unclean device having a timing pulley 27 serving as a rotating mechanism for rotating the medical instrument. An adapter 47 supports the medical instrument. A separator 46 has a hollow tubular shape for fitting the adapter 47 therein. At least the inner surface of the tube serves as a clean section, and the outer surface of the tube connects with the timing pulley 27. As a connection unit for connecting a drape, which isolates the device including the rotating mechanism from the clean section, a set of an outlet drape bearing 41 and an outlet drape bearing cover 42 and a set of an inlet drape bearing 45 and an inlet drape bearing cover 44 are provided. |
