PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water usage monitoring system and a water usage monitoring device which easily and surely inform a person of abnormal water usage including a water leak in a water-using apparatus.SOLUTION: Each of water usage monitoring devices 10-1, 10-2, is connected in a manner to intervene in a water supply system of an apparatus such as a washing machine 12, a warm water washing toilet seat 16, etc., which is installed in a residential house 11, and detects flowing water which flows by water usage. When detecting abnormal water usage including a water leak on the basis of a flowing water detection signal, the devices transmit an abnormal detection signal and make a warning device 18 having received the signal give a warning against abnormality such as the occurrence of the water leak, etc. |
