PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image drawing device for generating a model more approximate to an original model shape than a model using the prior arts in the case where a model is generated which is formed from polygons as many as polygons that the model generated by using the prior arts has.SOLUTION: The image drawing device comprises: a view point determination section 11 for determining three or more view points for an original model; a model projection section 12 for generating a silhouette of the original model while using the determined view points; a contour generation section 13 for generating a contour of the generated silhouette as a set of line segments; a contour division section 14 for dividing one of the generated contours while using the other contours and for giving a height thereto; a contour coupling section 15 for partially coupling the divided contours; a contour polygonization section 16 for generating a three-dimensional polygon model from the coupled contours; and a polygon reduction section 17 for reducing polygons which are not required for drawing, from the generated three-dimensional polygon model. |
