PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP repeater with an IP apparatus diagnostic function having a function for diagnosing the normality of following IP apparatus efficiently.SOLUTION: An IP repeater includes amount of transmission data measuring means for measuring the amount of data transmitted per unit time by each IP apparatus 3, average amount of transmission data storage means for storing the average amount of data transmitted per unit time from each IP apparatus via its IP repeater, and IP apparatus diagnostic means for diagnosing the normality of each IP apparatus periodically or non-periodically. A value measured by the amount of transmission data measuring means is compared with a value registered in the amount of transmission data storage means, and the possibility of abnormality of the IP apparatus 3 is determined according to predetermined determination conditions. |
