An image processing apparatus (100) displaying a target object imaged in a moving picture includes a target object detector (106) to detect the target object from a partial image of a first frame with a first display order, a target object position predictor (104) to predict a position of the target object in a second frame with a second display order based on a position of the target object in the first frame, the second display order being subsequent to the first display order of the first frame, a partial image extracting unit (105) to extract a partial image from the second frame, the partial image being obtained by perspectively projecting three dimensional coordinates of the target object having the predicted position in the second frame on a virtual plane, and a partial image display unit (107) to display the partial image extracted from the second frame on a display device. |
