PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spiral gasket that can easily be held so as not to drop from a flange interval during loading a gasket, even when fastened in the state where a flange is parallel in the up-and-down direction (vertical direction), and can easily be loaded in a correct gasket position between the flanges.SOLUTION: A spiral gasket 1A is formed by spirally polymerizing and integrating a metallic hoop material 1a with a filler material 1b, and loaded between magnetic metal flanges 2, 3 fastened while being in parallel to the up-and-down direction.
