PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic charge image development and a production method of the toner achieving both of low-temperature fixability and heat-resistant storage property.SOLUTION: The toner comprises toner base particles containing a binder resin and a colorant, each particle having a resin fine particle layer B containing resin fine particles (B) of a styrene-acryl copolymer or a styrene-butadiene copolymer having a volume average particle diameter of 10 to 200 nm and a glass transition temperature of 40 to 80°C, and a resin fine particle layer A containing anionic fine particles (A) formed outside the fine particle layer B. The toner is produced through steps of: preparing a toner material liquid by dissolving or dispersing a toner material containing a binder resin and a colorant in an organic solvent; preparing an emulsion or dispersion liquid of a toner material liquid containing the above toner material liquid, resin fine particles (A) and resin fine particles (B); removing the organic solvent from the dispersion liquid to form toner base particles; cleaning the formed toner base particles with water; and heating the cleaned toner base particles while stirring. |
