PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit warpage of a substrate and improve the joint reliability with the substrate in a liquid droplet discharge head in which a sealing part is formed around a drive IC installed on the substrate forming the liquid droplet discharge head.SOLUTION: A liquid droplet discharge head comprises: a nozzle substrate 1; an individual liquid chamber substrate 10 where a diaphragm 6 and a piezoelectric element 7 are laminated on a substrate having a partition part 4 of individual liquid chambers 3; a support substrate 11 which supports the individual liquid chamber substrate; a drive IC 12 which drives the piezoelectric element on the basis of a signal from the exterior; and a sealing part 15 which seals a periphery of the drive IC using a liquid resin hardener. The holding substrate has an opening 13 for installing the drive IC on the individual liquid chamber substrate and forms a water repellent film 13a on a side surface forming the opening. |
