PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control torques of two synchronous motors individually and independently by one power converter even in a case where phase angles of rotors of the two synchronous motors are different from each other.SOLUTION: A motor control device in which a first synchronous motor and a second synchronous motor are connected in parallel, receives a first torque command τ, a second torque command τ, a phase angle &thetas;of a rotor of the first synchronous motor, and a phase angle &thetas;of a rotor of the second synchronous motor. The motor control device applies to the first synchronous motor and the second synchronous motor a candidate of a voltage to be applied to the first synchronous motor for the purpose of generating a torque corresponding to the first torque command τ, and a candidate of a voltage to be applied to the second synchronous motor for the purpose of generating a torque corresponding to the second torque command τ, respectively. Thereby, the motor control device individually and independently controls the torques of the first synchronous motor and the second synchronous motor. |
