The device has a control electronics unit arranged in a drive motor and a housing i.e. motor housing, where the drive motor is operated by the control electronics unit. An operating unit (20) includes a display element and/or an operating element (30) i.e. push-button, that are detachably connected to the housing in two different positions or connected with the housing in one of the positions and alternatively arranged external to the housing. The operating unit is signal-connected with the control electronics unit and force-or form fit detachably connected with the housing.
