The present invention has an object to provide a vacuum electric cooker comprising:
- a cooker container (20) having a cooking tool (22);
- a cooker body (12) having a horizontal base (14) on which said cooker container (20) is removably mounted and a stand section (16) and including a motor (18) driving said cooking tool and a vacuum pump (38) making the inside of said cooker container a predetermined vacuum degree;
- a cover member (28) having a first discharge nozzle (26) for discharging the air and covering said cooker container; and
- a connecting arm (32) provided at the leading end with a connecting nozzle (34) communicating with said vacuum pump through an air tube (40), and having a base end attached to the vicinity of the upper end of said stand section so as to rock between an active position at which said connecting nozzle is connected air-tightly to said first discharge nozzle and an inactive position at which said connecting nozzle is separated from said first discharge nozzle. Said cooker being characterized in that a vacuum-preservation container (100) without said cooking tool can be removably mounted on said horizontal base instead of said cooker container.
