PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate which is excellent in polarizer durability even under high temperature and high humidity environment, has less curl and also which prevents occurrence of warpage and distortion of a liquid crystal panel due to use environment when incorporated into a liquid crystal display device and of display unevenness caused by the warpage and the distortion.SOLUTION: A polarizing plate includes a polarizer and two polarizing plate protective films arranged on both sides of the polarizer. In the polarizing plate, (1) the polarizer has a thickness of 3 μm or more and 18 μm or less, (2) at least one of the polarizing plate protective films has a thickness of 3 μm or more and 40 μm or less and contains at least one kind of resin and a compound having at least one hydrogen bonding and hydrogen-donating group and having a ratio of molecular weight/aromatic ring number of 300 or less, in an amount of 1 pts.mass or more and 20 pts.mass or less with respect to 100 pts.mass of the resin, and (3) the polarizing plate has a thickness of 15 μm or more and 70 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
