The invention provides an adhesive layer which is high in cohesive force and high in adhesiveness although the adhesive layer is actually a thin film. The invention also provides an adhesive film employing the adhesive layer. The adhesive layer is formed by the crosslinking of an adhesive composition containing an acrylic acid polymer, wherein a (methyl) acrylate monomer taking the adhesive composition as the main component comprises at least one type of (methyl) acrylic acid alkyl ester monomers with the carbon atom number being from C1 to C14, and at least one type of (methyl) acrylate monomers containing aryl groups. The adhesive composition serving as another polymerizable monomer comprises at least one type of nitrogenous vinyl monomers, at least one type of polymerizable vinyl monomers containing carboxyl and/or hydroxy polymerizable vinyl monomers. Moveover, the thickness of the adhesive layer is from 1 micron to 20 microns. When the thickness of the adhesive layer is 5 microns, the cohesive force is more than 4.0 (N/25mm). |
