The present invention handles increases in power consumed by an inkjet head. A control unit is provided with: a first input section into which the electric power supplied from a first power source is input; a second input section into which the electric power supplied from a second power source, which has a higher electric power supply capacity per specified time than the first power source, is input; and a control section for controlling the state of connection between an inkjet head driving system and the first input section and the second input section so that either the first power source or the second power source is connected to the inkjet head driving system. When greater-than-specified electric power is being input from both the first input section and the second input section, the control section controls the state of connection so as to prioritize connection of the second power source to the inkjet head driving system over the first power source. |
