A shoe assembly 10 that comprises an upper 14 connected to a sole 12, the upper comprises one or more upper straps 16 with one or more upper fasteners (18, fig.1) thereon and a decorative strap 20 connected to the one or more upper straps 16. In an embodiment the decorative strap 20 is made from a material that comprises wood, cork, leather, fabric, plastic, silicone, urethane, ethylene vinyl acetate, clear polymers, other synthetic materials and any combinations thereof and the decorative strap has fasteners 22 for mating with the upper fasteners (18, fig.1). The decorative strap 20 may have a pocket (28, fig.4a) thereon and a clip (40, fig.4a) may be connected to the decorative strap 20 via the pocket (28, fig.4a). The decorative strap may have one or more patterns, colours, jewels, stones, beads, or other decorative elements 30 thereon and may be in a t-shape or a triangular shape. . |
