PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition capable of foaming uniformly with high foaming rate by a gas generation component including at least water, useful for forming a foamed body excellent in strength, flexibility and stability, and to provide the foamed body formed by the resin composition.SOLUTION: A resin composition capable of foaming by at least water contains a biodegradable resin containing starch, a polypropylene resin and a flexible polymer. The starch contains amylopectin with 65 to 100 wt.% and may contain at least one kind selected from unmodified starch, etherified starch and esterified starch. The biodegradable resin may further contain a polyvinyl alcohol resin. The flexible polymer may contain at least one kind selected from flexible polyolefin and a flexible styrenic polymer. |
