PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the type of a wire and the feed amount of the wire on the basis of rotation of a wire reel 4.SOLUTION: A wire reel 4 detachably provided in a binding machine body 2 for binding reinforcements 6 is provided with an area for detecting information by a photosensor 26 arranged in the binding machine body 2. The information detecting area is divided into two information detecting areas of the wire reel 4, that is, a specification information detecting area S2 and a rotation number information detecting area S2. The reinforcement binding machine body 2, which is fitted with the wire reel 4 having translucent parts formed by mutually different numbers in the two information detecting areas, respectively, is provided with detection means capable of detecting ends of the two information detecting areas. |
