Spoiler device with guiding unit for tolerance compensation

The air guiding device (10) has a spoiler element (12) adjustable between a retracted idle position and an extended operating position by an actuation mechanism (16) which has a handlebar unit with two guidance handlebars (20,22) and a drive handlebar unit (32). The guidance handlebars form a pivotable multi-joint unit and are hinged at a base (18) and at a spoiler element support (14). The handlebar unit has a tolerance compensating unit effective in the retracted idle position of the spoiler element with regard to stroke or angular position of spoiler element opposite to the base.
