[Problem] To provide a pant-type disposable diaper for which the side seal sections formed on the left and right sides of the diaper are attractive and the side seal sections have a good feel. [Solution] A pant-type disposable diaper in which a pair of side seal sections (4) is formed, wherein the pair of side seal sections (4) comprise main seam areas (40) that extend in the vertical direction and secondary seam areas (50) that are positioned to the outside of the main seam areas (40) in the left-right direction and extend in the vertical direction. The secondary seam areas (50) here are areas formed by providing one or multiple embossed rows in which multiple secondary embossed parts (51) form a line at intervals in the vertical direction. The seam strength of the secondary seam areas (50) is set to be weaker than the seam strength of the main seam areas (40).
