PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handling device for an automatic switch for power distribution which makes a delayed release operation and a fast release operation possible without using a plurality of relays for which cooperative operation is required or a relay for which constant excitation is required.SOLUTION: The handling device comprises: a switch SW2 for fast release which is opened, when fast releasing a switch that is handled by an electromagnet including a closing coil CC and a holding coil HC that are connected in series with each other, for preventing a handling voltage from being applied to both ends of a series circuit of the closing coil and the holding coil; a switch 42b for closing detection which is connected in parallel to the holding coil and opened when closing the switch; a diode D for delayed release that is connected between handling voltage input terminals (a) and (b); and a relay Ry of which the exciting coil is connected in parallel to both the ends of the series circuit of the closing coil and the holding coil via a capacitor C. A normally-closed contact Ry/b of the relay is connected in parallel to both ends of the closing coil CC via a diode D1 in a direction of reverse bias by a voltage over the closing coil when closing the switch.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
