PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor which has a structure capable of improving a waterproof property.SOLUTION: One form of a motor is equipped with a seal member made from an elastic body. A housing and a bracket are made of metal. The seal member has an upper side seal portion positioned between an upper surface of a brush card flange portion and the housing, and a lower side seal portion position between a lower surface of the brush card flange portion and the bracket. A housing lower end surface which is a lower end surface of the housing, and a bracket upper end surface which is an upper end surface of the bracket are opposed to each other in an axial direction. The housing lower end surface and the bracket upper end surface have contacting portions which contact with each other, and separating portions which separate from each other in the axial direction. The motor is provided with a diametrical direction opening portion positioned between the separating portion of the housing lower end surface and the separating portion of the bracket upper end surface, and opening in a diametrical direction. The seal member has an interposing portion positioned at the diametrical direction opening portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
