PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket for electrical component in which the pressing force between an electric contact and the electrode of a wiring board, and the pressing force between the electric contact and the electrode of an IC package can be set individually.SOLUTION: An elastomer sheet 17 is provided on the lower surface of a lower plate 16, the second contact part 13c of a wire probe 13 is inserted into insertion holes 16a, 17a, and then the tip thereof is bent to form an L-shaped contact part 32. Thereafter, the elastomer sheet 17 is pressed by means of the lower plate 16, and the L-shaped contact part 32 is pressed by this elastomer sheet 17, thus bringing the bend 32a of the second contact part 13c into contact with the electrode 10a of a wiring board 10. Since the pressing force of a first contact part 13b is generated by a spring 13a, and the pressing force of the second contact part 13c is generated by the elastomer sheet 17, in a wire probe 13, these pressing forces can be made uniform.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
