PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric dust collector and the like facilitating maintenance while optimally removing aerosol generated in a nuclear power plant.SOLUTION: An electric dust collector 26 provided in a nuclear power plant 10 that uses sodium as a coolant and removing sodium aerosol generated from the sodium, includes: electrodes 33 for attracting the sodium aerosol to be electrified; a filter 34 for covering the electrodes 33; an ambient dosimeter 35 for monitoring adhesion of the sodium aerosol to the filter 34; a cleaning device 36 for cleaning the filter 34; and a control unit 38 for controlling the cleaning device 36. When it is determined that the sodium aerosol is accumulated on the filter 34 on the basis of a measuring result of the ambient dosimeter 35, the control unit 38 causes the cleansing device 36 to clean the filter 34, however, when it is determined that the sodium aerosol is not accumulated on the filter 34, does not cause the cleaning device 36 to clean the filter 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
