PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter that can easily detect bias magnetism of a transformer.SOLUTION: A power converter 1 includes an inductor L 1, a conversion circuit 2, a controller 3, a transformer 4, a current detector 6, and a bias magnetism detector 7. The conversion circuit 2 has switching elements Q 1 to Q 4, converts a DC voltage input from a DC power supply 8 to an AC voltage and outputs the AC voltage. The inductor L 1 is electrically connected to the input terminal of the conversion circuit 2. The control unit 3 controls the switching elements Q 1 to Q 4. The primary winding L11 of the transformer 4 is electrically connected between the output ends of the conversion circuit 2. The current detector 6 detects current flowing through the secondary winding L12 of the transformer 4. The bias magnetism detector 7 has a filter unit 71 for averaging the detection result of the current detector 6, and detects the bias magnetism of the transformer 4 on the basis of the output of the filter unit 71.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
