PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, an X-ray CT apparatus, and an image processing method capable of creating an image of an organ in a respiratory condition different from a respiratory condition when an image is taken without an increase in an exposure dose due to additional imaging, etc.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 122 creates a tomographic image in an inhalation period using measurement data taken by an X-ray CT apparatus 1 in a state in which a subject is inhaling, and creates a three-dimensional image of an attention region based on the created tomographic image in the inhalation period. The image processing apparatus 122 also creates a low time resolution tomographic image which is a tomographic image whose time resolution is lower than that of the tomographic image in the inhalation period, using the measurement data of the inhalation period. The image processing apparatus 122 calculates movement information on the attention region based on the tomographic image in the inhalation period and the low time resolution tomographic image, deforms the three-dimensional image of the attention region based on the calculated movement information, and creates a three-dimensional image whose respiratory condition is different from the respiratory condition when the image is taken.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
