PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective mat which has high protective performance, light weight and excellent workability and further which can reduce outflow risk of liquid contaminants because of high water absorbing performance though the mat is invented with a background of conventional techniques.SOLUTION: A protective mat is obtained by integrating: a nonwoven fabric layer A containing a water swelling polymer material of 25 wt.% or more; and a nonwoven fabric layer B consisting essentially of polyolefin polymer fiber or polyester polymer fiber and having mass per unit area of 100 to 800 g/m. |
