PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing an aqueous dispersion of resin fine particles, in which each of the obtained resin particles has a small particle size and which is excellent in productivity, and to provide a method for producing a toner which is obtained from the aqueous dispersion of resin fine particles and has excellent preservation stability.SOLUTION: The method for preparing the aqueous dispersion of resin fine particles comprises: a mixing step of mixing at least a resin having an acid radical with an anionic surfactant to obtain a mixture; and an emulsification step of agitating the obtained mixture in the presence of water and water-soluble inorganic salt at the temperature equal to or higher than the glass transition point of the resin having the acid radical to obtain a resin-emulsified product. At the emulsification step, the concentration of the water-soluble inorganic salt in a water phase is equal to or lower than a critical aggregation concentration. |
