PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool a reduction gear of a power transmission device in which a motor is connected to the reduction gear through a fluid coupling.SOLUTION: In a power transmission device GM, a motor M is connected to a reduction gear G through a fluid coupling F1 and a protection cover 18 is arranged that covers the fluid coupling F1. In addition, air intake openings 41-44 are arranged at a position closer to the reduction gear G of the protection cover 18 and air exhaust openings 51 and 52 are arranged at a position away from the reduction gear G of the protection cover 18. By rotating the fluid coupling F1, the air sucked through the air intake openings 41-44 is exhausted through the air exhaust openings 51 and 52. |
