PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magenta toner having a favorable color development and superior charging characteristics by improving the color development and dispersibility that are defects of quinacridone pigment, thereby providing a magenta toner with superior image quality and image quality stability in sequential live-action.SOLUTION: The magenta toner for electrostatic charge image development is formed by aggregating and fusing at least colorant dispersion liquid and resin particle dispersion liquid and includes wax. The magenta toner uses as the colorant, solid solution of C.I.Pigment Red 122 and C.I.Pigment Violet 19, with an aspect ratio of primary particles of not less than 1 and not more than 3. |
