PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float type drain trap capable of preventing separation of a seating member for a valve member from a valve casing.SOLUTION: A valve casing is composed of a body 1 and a cover 2. An inlet 5, a valve chest 4, and an outlet 7 are formed on the valve casing. A valve seat member 9 is mounted at a lower portion of the valve chest 4 while welded to the cover 2. A discharge passage 8 for communicating the valve chest 4 to an outlet 7 side, is formed on the valve seat member 9. A float 11 seating on and separating from the valve seat member 9 to open and close the discharge passage 8, is disposed in the valve chest 4. A plug 13 is welded and mounted on the cover 2 coaxially with the valve seat member 9. A communication passage 13a for communicating the discharge passage 8 of the valve seat member 9 with the outlet 7 side, is formed on the plug 13. An operating member 14 penetrating through the plug 13 so as to place its tip side in the discharge passage 8, is screw-connected to the plug 13 so that it can be operated to be advanced and retracted by screw from the external. The operating member 14 is provided with a valve member 17 seating on a tip portion 13b of the plug 13 to close the discharge passage 8 when the operating member 14 is advanced most. |
