A header (12) for an agricultural harvester (10) is disclosed for the transport of a flow of crop from a header (12) to a combine feeder house. The header (12) includes a frame (14) having a floor (36), a conveyor assembly (20), and a feeder assembly (28). The conveyor assembly (20) is mounted to the frame (14) and the conveyor assembly (20) includes a conveyor and a conveyor drive mechanism for driving the conveyor. The feeder assembly (28) is mounted to the frame (14) and has a rotary device (38) and an independent rotary drive mechanism operatively connected to the rotary device (38) to drive the rotation of the rotary device (38).
