A lifting jig (8) for lifting at least part of a load (6) is provided, wherein the lifting jig comprises a plurality of first connectors (10) and one or more second connectors (12). The first connectors are for connecting one or more hoisting devices (4) to the lifting jig in plural positions. The second connectors are for connecting the lifting jig to a load. The lifting jig is configured to support the second connectors above the first connectors when the lifting jig is suspended by the first connectors. A method is also provided. |
