The invention provides a mattress apparatus which can increase contact area of the mattress and bodies by lifting two sides of short edge directions of the mattress no matter what figures users have and supporting forces are increased. The mattress of the mattress apparatus is put on a carrying surface. When a user lies on the mattress, a supporting unit expands and shrinks through supply and discharge of fluid on a specific area position wrapping the mattress in the mattress or on the lower part of the mattress. When the supporting unit expands by supplying of the fluid, the periphery of the specific are of the mattress deforms in a raised manner. |
