PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which a burden of user's operation in an authentication screen increases because connection with an external device through a proxy server is not taken into consideration, when periodically transmitting information to the external device.SOLUTION: An information processing device comprises display control means to control display of a dialog for confirming that transmission of an operation log about a device to an external device is periodically performed, authentication means to perform authentication with a proxy server when transmitting the operation log, transmission means to transmit the operation log to the external device when the authentication with the proxy server succeeds, and control means to prevent periodical transmission of the operation log by the transmission means when the authentication with the proxy server fails. The control means cancels the prevention of periodical transmission of the operation log when setting of the proxy server is changed. |
