摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a hoisting machine for an elevator, which can be easily assembled by reducing the number of components, can be made compact in size and light in weight.SOLUTION: Bearings 4 and 5 are supported on bearing stands 2 and 3 respectively and both end parts of a rotary shaft 6 are freely rotatably supported via the bearings 4 and 5. The rotary shaft 6 consists of carbon steel, for example. A main cable winding part 6a around which a main cable 7 is wound is integrally formed on a middle part of the rotary shaft 6. A plurality of rope grooves 6b into which the main cable 7 is inserted are disposed on the main cable winding part 6a. The main cable winding part 6a is forged when manufacturing the rotary shaft 6. The rope grooves 6b may be formed by machining by a lathe or may be formed by forging.
